Day 1 – Yangon – Dawei
Fly from Yangon to Dawei. Explore Dawei, a peaceful seaside town and an important centre of Buddhism in Myanmar. Begin with the major temples, Pa Shu Kyauk Pagoda, with an impressive Buddha statue and Shin Mout Hti Pagoda, built in 1438 it contains a relic from the original Boddhi Tree. Finish the day with a stroll downtown to soak in the unique atmosphere of the town, passing Chinese temples and colonial style buildings as trishaws and horse carts pass by. Overnight in Dawei

Day 2 – Dawei 
Start the day with a visit to Kanna Market, Dawei’s largest fresh market. Here vendors sell the day’s first catch of fish, fresh fruit, flowers, vegetables and meat. With lively crowds, and colourful wares, the market is a kaleidoscope of activity. From Dawei, head westwards to Maungmagan Beach, stopping en route at the YeI Bu Hot Springs. Relax or explore Maungmagan beach and Hmyaw Yit Beach. Lastly visit Hmyaw Yit Pagoda, a pagoda on water located just offshore before returning to Dawei. Overnight in Dawei

Day 3 – Dawei – Myeik

Today drive to the foot of Sabar Taung (Rice Hill). Begin the ascent, approximately one hour to reach the summit. At the top, enjoy panoramic views over the Dawei River and the surrounding mountains which is especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Myeik. In Myeik enjoy a walk along the waterfront and downtown area, passing colonial-style buildings. Enjoy sunset at Theindawgyi Pagoda, whose terrace offers great views over the port. End the day at local Chinese house where they process birds nests a much prized delicacy used in soups. Overnight in Myeik

Day 4 – Myeik 
This morning visit the central market. Then board a local wooden boat to Pataw and Padet Island and visit a softshell crab farm. Trek to the mountain of Patawfor to enjoy a panoramic view of the nearby region and observe the rare species of birds and monkeys. Continue to Padet Island to explore and visit Atula Shwe Thalyaung Pagoda, with its reclining Buddha image. Return by boat to Myeik. Overnight in Myeik

Day 5 – Myeik – Kawthaung
Today gain a perspective of the local lifestyles and industries. Visit a lobster farm, betel nut farm, cashew nut farm and a candlemaking workshop. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Kawthaung. Head to the port jetty and transfer by speedboat to Andaman Resort * No local guide *. Overnight in Kawthaung
