Day 1 – Phnom Penh
Arrive in Phnom Penh were you are welcomed and transfer to your hotel to check in. Start in Phnom Penh with a visit to the Killing Fields, which provide a stark reminder of the atrocities under the Pol Pot regime and Tuol Sleng (S-21) formerly a High School, this became the interrogation and torture facility for the Khmer Rouge regime. Later visit Wat Phnom, the National Museum and lastly Central Market (Psah Thmey). Overnight in Phnom Penh
Day 2 – Phnom Penh – Siem Reap
Today visit the Royal Palace which was built to serve as the residence of the King of Cambodia and his family and Silver Pagoda. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 3 – Siem Reap
Today visit the highlight of Siem Reap as you explore Angkor Wat, the crown jewel of Khmer architecture and highlight of any visit to Cambodia. Next stop Preah Khan and Pre Rup Temple. Continue to Banteay Srei Temple built in pink sandstone and walls covered in exquisitely preserved carvings. Tonight watch the sun set over the Cambodian countryside from the upper terraces of an ancient Angkorian temple. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 4 – Siem Reap
Enter the fortified city of Angkor Thom through the South Gate. Enclosed by a wall and wide moats; the city includes many of Angkor’s most popular sights. Visit Banteay Kdei Temple and Srah Srang before exploring Ta Prohm temple one of the most popular temples, slowly being swallowed by the jungle Lastly stop at Ta Keo temple before returning to Siem Reap city. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 5 – Siem Reap – Luang Prabang
This morning visit the Roluos Group this group of 3 monuments mark the beginning of Khmer classical art and represent some of the earliest great temples built by the Khmer. Later transfer to the airport for your flight to Luang Prabang, set between the Nam Khan and Mekong rivers, Luang Prabang is an enchanting town filled with historic temples and colonial style buildings and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. Overnight in Luang Prabang

Day 6 – Luang Prabang
Today visit Wat Visoun the oldest living temple in Luang Prabang. Next stop at Wat Aham before continuing to Wat Xieng Thong, the crowning jewel of all the monasteries in the city. From there, stroll down the main street of Luang Prabang, stopping at some of the many temples that line its sides, including Wat Sibounheuang, Wat Si Moungkhoun, Wat Sop and Wat Sene. Continue to the National Museum afterwards visit Hor Phrabang and Wat Mai. Enjoy sunet at Mount Phousi offering beautiful views over the temples and river. Overnight in Luang Prabang

Day 7 – Luang Prabang
Travel up the Mekong River to the steep limestone cliffs overlooking the Mekong and Nam Ou rivers, home to the Tham Pak Ou Caves. These extraordinary caves are filled with Buddha images. Next visit Kuang Si Waterfalls stopping en route to visit a local village. This multi-tiered waterfall tumbles over limestone formations into a series of turquoise pools. Enjoy swimming in the clear water or just relax in the natural environment. Stop on the way back at the weaving village of Ban Xang Khong, known for its traditional handwoven cotton and silk and production of the local sa (mulberry) paper. Overnight in Luang Prabang

Day 8 – Luang Prabang – Phonsavanh
Take a journey along mountain roads with stunning views of the forested mountains, lush valleys and karst formations. En route stop at Muang Sui, with its scenic Nong Tang Lake, rimmed with limestone cliffs; and the extensive cave network of Tham Pha Cave. Only discovered recently, this cave contains a 5 metre high Buddha image dating from 777 AD, surrounded by gold and wooden statues of smaller sizes. Overnight in Phonsavanh

Day 9 – Phonsavanh
Spend the morning to visit a local market before heading to the famous Plain Of Jars. A vast area extending around Phonsavanh from the south-west to the north-east. This mysterious and ancient area contains over 300 huge stone jars, apparently carved out of solid rock are scattered around the plateau. Afterwards continue to Muang Khoun, an ancient capital and stronghold for the Xieng Khuang royal family which was destroyed during the Indochina War. Overnight in Phonsavanh

Day 10 – Phonsavanh
Spend the morning visiting some of the local markets in Phonsavanh. Also visit Wat Santiphap; a weaving centre, mulberry farm and the Na Wang Craft centre. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Vientiane.
