Day 1

Saigon – Buon Ma Thuot

By vehicle from Saigon (city) to Buon Ma Thuot (Full day)

Journey through the provinces of Song Be and Dac Lac via Chon Thanh and Dong Xoai.

Visit Dray Sap Waterfall

Visit the beautiful Dray Sap Waterfalls, a cascading waterfall over 100 metres wide located in the middle of the jungle.

Day 2

Sightseeing in Buon Ma Thuot

The capital of Dak Lak province, Buon Ma Thuot is a prosperous town in a region known for coffee plantations and diverse Montagnard poplation. In the morning, visit the town highlights, beginning with the Ethnographic Museum, which provides a comprehensive insight into the many distinct ethnic groups of the province, which include the Ede and M’nong, among others. Displays feature traditional Montagnard dress, as well as agricultural implements, fishing gear and musical instruments.
Continue to the Khai Doan Pagoda, the Lac Giao Temple and the local Catholic Church.

Excursion to Lak Lake with boat trip (Full day)

Journey south on Route 27, a breathtaking road past forest, coffee plantations and rice fields. Arrive at Lak Lake, a tranquil area where inhabitants still follow a traditional rural lifestyle. Enjoy a BOAT TRIP by dugout canoe takes to various MNONG VILLAGES on the lake. This matrilineal tribe passes name and inheritance through the female line, and generally live in longhouses.

Day 3

Buon Ma Thuot – Lak Lake (Breakfast: Hotel / Dinner: Meals during Trekking (Vietnam) )

Lodge Camping Adventure by the Lake, day 1 of 3 (Option 1: tour starts in the afternoon on day 1 and end in the afternoon on day 3) * No local guide *

Start the tour at 13:30 pm. Be welcome and transferred by boat to Lak Tented Camp. Check-in. Afternoon at leisure to self-explore the surrounding. In the evening, enjoy a Gong performance followed with dinner at Y Lak restaurant. Overnight at Lak Tented Camp.

Day 4

Lodge Camping Adventure by the Lake, day 2 of 3

Breakfast. Transfer to Yang Tao village, located on the foot of Chu Yang Sin National Park. Take a short trek to the hidden waterfall, enjoy the jungle canopy, and swim at the fresh natural pool. Savor a healthy picnic lunch by the waterfall. (6-7hours) Afternoon, explore our organic farm followed with a cooking demonstration. Dinner overnight at Lak Tented Camp – Overnight in Lak Lake

Day 5

Take a short boat ride on picturesque Lak lake to enjoy early sunrise, watch fishermen softly drift, village life awakens while the lake reflects the changing colors. Breakfast. Take a guided village tour to explore M’Nong ethnic villages (Nau, M’Lieng) around Lak, its lifestyle and typical culture. (3 hours cultural sightseeing, join-in). Lunch at Lak Tented Camp. Check-out around 12.00p.m

Day 6

Buon Ma Thuot – Kon Tum (Breakfast: Hotel )

By vehicle from Buon Ma Thuot to Kon Tum with sightseeing in Pleiku

Journey north, stopping in the market town of Pleiku for a visit to the LOCAL MARKET and GIA LAI ETHNOGRAPHY MUSEUM for an introduction to the ethnic minorities of the region, predominantly the Jarai minority. Continue north to SEA LAKE (BIEN HO), a deep mountain lake formed from a prehistoric volcanic crater. Enroute, visit villages of the JARAI and BAHNAR minorities before arriving in Kon Tum.
