Hsipaw

The town is on the road to China so the traffic is noisy day and night. The Central Market at Hsipaw is one of the best markets to visit in all Myanmar. Ox carts are common means of transport and the entire area is self-sufficient. Most streets are not paved.

The landscape is a mix of arid hills to lush terraced rice paddies.
